Foundation Software announces its acquisition of AboutTime Technologies, developer of WorkMax.
Foundation Software spent the majority of its lifetime as a family-owned and operated business for 35 years. The company was founded by Ohio native, Fred Ode, who started the company with just one employee in 1985. Mr. Ode maintains the role of founder and CEO/Chairman of Foundation Software in Strongsville, OH, where he continues to manage the creation and progress. Additionally, he is the CEO of Payroll4Construction.com, a payroll processing and reporting service for contractors.
WorkMax, the cloud-based mobile resource management solution, allows construction businesses the ability to track and manage time and labor, forms, productivity, and more, in real-time. AboutTime is the on-premise solution that requires the installation of software on-site and requires maintenance to be done by the customer.
"AboutTime Technologies is a great addition to the Foundation Software product family because we share similar values - we both want to provide integrated, best-of-breed solutions to the construction community," said Mike Ode, CEO of Foundation Software. "We've known the team at AboutTime for years, so this fit feels very natural. The whole team is excited to take this to the next level.”
The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. However, according to Accesswire, Mayer Brown served as legal advisor to AboutTime Technologies and Massumi + Consoli LLP served as legal advisor to Foundation Software.
